12 Best Rooftop Bars in Paris
1. Montparnasse Tower Rooftop Terrace
Relax with a drink while you soak up the Paris panorama from the highest tower in the city.
Towering 699.97-feet high, the Montparnasse Tower is an attraction on its own. But did you know it has a rooftop bar with jaw-dropping views?
The bar is small and has a number of bean bags and lounge chairs, so you might want to time your entrance because many people go there to see the sunset, including us. And let me tell you something: it’s 100% worth it! What a view!
You do have to buy the Montparnasse ticket, but the view alone is worth the money.
2. Le Perchoir
Le Perchoir, translated to The Birds Perch, is a Parisian rooftop bar that has been given its name for a reason – with a beautiful 360-degree panoramic of Paris, you really do get that bird’s eye view.
Situated near the Ménilmontant metro, this bar is a common attraction for both locals and tourists alike. When you arrive, you take a lift up to the seventh floor and walk out, staring at the City of Love.
However, Le Perchoir does have a limit of 100 people on the roof at one time, so best get there early for that prime location!
The overall layout is of a Bohemian style. There are large sofas with plump pillows for relaxing and lounging with a cocktail in hand.
Additionally, they have stylish wooden tables for those who feel like enjoying a meal during their rooftop experience. Sprinkled around the bar and seating areas are an array of plants adding to that outdoor rooftop vibe!
The bar’s carefully crafted signature cocktails are a must-have. But make sure to try out the gin and vodka made by Le Perchoir itself.
However, if you aren’t feeling for an alcoholic beverage, do not worry; they have many organic soft drink options, such as lemonade and cola!
Luckily for you, this rooftop bar does allow for reservations of up to 6 people and is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. You may book two weeks in advance, and we would advise you do so as it can fill up quickly!
3. The Shed at Hotel des Grands Boulevards
Above the Hotel des Grands Boulevards, at the center of luxurious Paris, a bar called The Shed awaits.

You can expect an array of house cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, wines and champagnes on the menu, and light meals such as Italian charcuterie, cheese platters, or trout!
The Shed is relatively small compared to other bars around Paris, so it is always a good idea to take the time to make a reservation beforehand.
Be careful not to book for the wrong bar as they have another bar in the hotel called The Shell – the two names are similar, so it is an easy mistake to make.
